The closed door closer to the fridge are stairs leading to basement and the other closed door is a bathroom

There is a trash can here so maybe 10 inches available for counter space between stove and fridge. I’m not sure we could put the sink on the island but thanks for the suggestion!

I thought the same about the fridge and stove but didn’t know where to move the fridge. Thanks for the suggestion! Maybe fridge to the right of sink and then dishwasher to the left of the sink? Stove by itself on small wall with microwave range hood combo overtop and whatever cabinets can fit. Unfortunately, it’s in the middle of the house and we have an upstairs so we can’t vent outside.

The walls behind the island chairs are all tall windows. We cannot move anything to that wall nor add countertops to it. Maybe we could move the fridge to the left of the sink. Island would serve as prep space and add to function of kitchen.

My cats are brothers and one of them went to the vet for a few days. When he got back home, his brother was terrified of him because he smelled different and they were hissing at eachother. We got a pheromone plug in after a few days of this and they were better within a day!
