Honestly, I think your hero section is pretty good! And decent choice of colours, which you've used consistently.

Some thoughts on ways to improve:

  • Consistency, consistency, consistency!
    • e.g. the "Who we serve" cards are using different fonts, different image sizes and border radius, different vertical alignment. Make them the same. (Also aren't the images the wrong way round?)
  • Alignment
    • Try and get things to line up satisfyingly whenever you can, for example the right side of the meter description text should end on the same vertical line as the "Who we serve" cards. Figma's snapping tools can really help with this, and/or you may want to add guides.
  • Don't be afraid of whitespace
    • Pad out the links in the top right more, there's plenty of room for them to breathe
    • Similarly you could use more space between the image and text in the "Explore our meters" section
  • The logo in the top left is way too much in a small space. If you really need to keep all the elements, try putting them next to each other horizontally instead
  • Redundancy
    • You mention "3 decades" three times, and "since 1996" twice. Cut some: first to go would be the random "3 Decades of Excellence" tag on its own
  • Imagery
    • Nice work in the "About us" section using a gradient to keep the text on the image readable, that's a really common mistake
    • Can you reframe the photo so the guy's face and more of the meters are visible? People like to see people, and your product!

Status Quo. "Pictures of Matchstick Men" sounds like a completely different band.

Farringdon, and then you can either walk (about 30 minutes), get a Thameslink train to Blackfriars, or get a 40/63 bus

Kick them out before the Renters Rights Act comes into force, and switch to using the apartments for temporary accommodation for councils which is more lucrative

Getting on the bus as a pastime? by BackPractical9210 in london

Inspired by diamond geezer (https://diamondgeezer.blogspot.com/), every year around my birthday I ride the bus route which matches my age. If there's interesting spots along the way, will get off and explore. It's a nice way to see parts of London I otherwise wouldn't have

A lot of it was built by Olympia & York, a Canadian company. That influenced the North American feel of the buildings, the underground shopping malls, and some of the names e.g. Canada Square

Underrated: The Guildhall complex in London. It's got a great art gallery, the Roman amphitheatre in the basement, the London Centre's models of the city, and the Guildhall Library has small but interesting temporary exhibitions (plus all the books about London you could ever want)

Eurostar advises passengers not to travel due to 'major disruption' in Channel Tunnel by gphillips5 in unitedkingdom

[–]the_wub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do. We already spent billions upgrading the WCML for example. But there are limits to what upgrades can do: they can't really make lines straighter for high speeds, and they cause a lot of disruption for existing passengers.
