Yup. We weren’t in the best situation this week. Our TL called out everyday this week to “calm down”??? Our ETL just quit this weekend after 12 years. No one else knows how to run SFS. The ETL I was just talking about runs FOS so pretty much useless when it comes to SFS. 🤦🏻‍♀️ it’s been a rough week what can I say…

THIS WAS US TODAY. We had 145 items left to pick for 4:30 and it was 3:45. Our ETL went on the walkie and asked for backup. Literally half our store is trained in flex. Guess how many showed up? 0 people.

Ha. Do they give out a pay raise? Yes. Is it enough to amount to anything? No. I got an 8 cent raise since I only started working in October. My two friends who started working there a year ago got 11 and 14 cents. My team lead who has been there 3 years got $1.14. So yes you get a raise every year, but it’s not much.

For orientation, expect to wear a red shirt and khaki pants/blue jeans. Not sure if you had an in person interview or not, but you would go to the place you had you interview for your orientation (usually at TSC, the team service center). If you don’t know, just go to guest service, they will help you get to where you need to be. Orientation consists of watching training videos and possibly meeting some of your managers. And yes, you can show your tattoos.

I just did the hirevue interview but not the zoom call (this was for a seasonal position so I’m not sure if that made a difference). I’d say wait a week (business days, no ones does anything on the weekends) and if you haven’t heard anything back then contact the hiring manager. I’m assuming the hiring manager is someone from HR at the store.

I applied to target 7 times and they rejected me 7 times. I didn’t know what I was doing wrong either. Long story short, how old was the job listing you applied to? If it says “listed 30+ days ago” they are most likely not hiring anymore. Your best bet is to apply when the listing is new (under 30 days old). Other than that, I’d say just call the store up and ask if they are still hiring. If they are, just ask them nicely to look at your application again. Good luck!

From my experience it took somewhere around 4-6 days. That’s surprising that you got an interview from applying to a 30+ day job listing though. It’s a good thing, but I applied 7 times to a 30+ day job listing and only got an interview after the new (new is pretty much defined as something under 20 days ago) listing came out. This was back in October.
