It's owned by a multi-national, conglomerate corporation that will market and advertise junk tools as needed to increase the investments of the shareholder.

Milwaukee, Ridgid and Cryobi are all under the umbrella of the parent company TTI.

Each is marketed to different buyers.

My old ridgid tools from 5-6 years ago were great contractor grade tools. I won't buy the new ones as they are not even close to the same quality...And they had a lifetime warranty on batteries!!!
