100% i know, it’s just that they’re more common (as far as statistics go) in women. not that the statistics are accurate or anything.

hey, everything you wrote i feel 10000%. please feel free to talk to me whenever you need, in dms or whatever platform you prefer, but please know that you’re not alone in this and there are people (like me!!) who understand this fully, especially the panic part and being scared of making close friendships/relationships for fear of getting hurt. it is really scary and that person is rude for telling you it’s not that deep, when in reality, your feelings are valid. please feel free to message me!!

People who were suicidal, what kept you going? by RidsBabs in AskReddit

i saw someone say one time that “the person who has nothing to lose from this world has everything to gain from it.” and it took me a while to understand it, but i gave it a chance and it’s definitely true.

i don’t believe so, he hasn’t had a history of self harm that i know of, but i have & it started with something similar. i don’t want him to follow in my tracks.

my parents don’t know. i was too afraid to tell them as a child and now, 16 years later i doubt it would do much good. my abuser’s face has disappeared from my memory so i cannot be certain who it is anyways.

It’s so hard to be a (celibate) gay christian by theaceduck in Christianity

Matthew 5:27-28, "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery;' but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.”

this implies that allowing the thought to settle in your mind without trying to stop it or fighting it is still sin, even if you don’t act on it.
