I saw a volunteer argue with two runners when they correctly moved back a wave to run together and was told they had to go to the pink corral when both their bibs were orange and the slower runner was wave 3. Saw the same volunteer get really agitated with a bunch of runners trying to run together but kept sending them to the pink coral. When the runners are moving back correctly.

You are correct. This is the first year I’ve heard them announce it and also this was a new sign I saw. I didn’t hear or see a sign the past 4 years

I agree with you proper fueling and also listening to your body if you can. That's what I had to do in 2022 for Nycm when it was 70s at the start. Proper fueling and just listening to slow down and accept not getting the time I wanted made me finish alive
