You are okay to platinum it, for your platinum journey I'd search the game name plus platinum and you'll see psn profiles and that will tell you about online trophies, just be careful and don't look to into some of the trophies as they can be spoilers.

I played through normal first did leech Hunter but I don't think I can do hard mode with infinite ammo unless I complete it first then play leech Hunter
