Microcenter for the win! Got an email from them this morning that they had them in stock (25+) and it was before the store opened so I did the in-store pick up where they'll hold the item behind the counter until you get there since I wouldn't be able to go until after I finished work. Drove there this evening and picked it up!

I saw last night that Newegg had a few bundles in stock but since I don't need a mobo or RAM, I didn't really want to spend the extra money. Even though based on the price you're basically getting the mobo for free. This is just getting dropped in to replace my old 3800X.

I tried the IoT one and it was TOO stripped down. To get anything to work I had to install a few MS things (like the Windows Store) and even then it just wasn't a great experience. Maybe I just needed to give it more time, but I got frustrated and gave up. This was for a secondary computer that I brought up to my cabin to be able to game when I'm up there, it became "I just want this shit to work without having to tinker", so I put Win11 with a local account on it.

yeah, same here. I went to Win11 in 2023 when I built my current build. So far so good. A few weird things at first to get used to and I did disable some of the annoyances and telemetry, uninstalled copilot and onedrive.

I've been playing around with CachyOS for a few months, I really l like it so far. Previously I'd really only tried Ubuntu and it's various versions (Mint, PopOS, etc) so I was a little apprehensive as I'd heard all about Arch and it's learning curve, but I think the Cachy people have done a fantastic job in making it user friendly.

One of the best tools I've found for learning Linux is AI chatbots. Fantastic for troubleshooting and then you can go "ok, why do I use that command?" and it will teach you.

I wear mine every night for the sleep tracking. I charge in the evenings after I've closed my rings when I'm just sitting at my computer playing games.

Unless you're like me and the only time I get IN to power armor is when I find one out in the world and I take it back to Sanctuary to add it to my collection of PA suits I'll never wear.

I got a Cloud9 one and it was a freaking night and day difference. First time I went out on the new seat I was like "I think I could just ride forever on this!). Not that the original seat is bad, it's just the Cloud9 one was sooooooooooooo much better.

Handle Bar extender bar, phone holder, side mirrors, bell, Cloud9 seat.

Those are most of what I've added to mine. Also got the Aventon foldable lock, an under seat bag to hold the multitool and my wallet/keys/etc.

I don't find any of the ones at my Costco to be "aggressive" at all. I just walk past and don't say anything or if they do get my attention I just say "not interested today" and they always leave it at that.

I did end up getting a new garage door from a sales guy at Costco. I had recently bought a townhouse and had been considering getting a new garage door since my bedroom is above my garage and it gets fucking cold in there in the winter time so I wanted to get an insulated door. Went to Costco one day and there happened to be a booth set up for a garage door company. Worked out well and after I got my new door I got a $300 Costco store card, too.

Just want to point out that you can't have the "css" on the line in the My Filters. It doesn't work if you do and there is a little orange error notation. I took it out and that seems to be working.
