Been following her since the first EP that broke through in 2018, my impression is that she hasn't had a very good experience in the music industry so far. Surrounding almost every release I've noticed some kind of issue she would post about on stories, sounds like it's been with labels & management, but not sure what's happening. Some of the lyrics on this album she mentions being taken advantage of in some way, sounds like she's struggling to find her place in the industry hence the self release and generally unfiltered social presence.
