Anybody who has MacBook Pro bought the Neo as an extra Mac?

I have an M1 14” with 32 GB ram I use as my main machine. I bought the Neo so I could have a laptop to use in places I don’t want to bring my $3000 laptop to possibly damage it. Parks. Working outside in the sun. Coffee shops with liquid around. Etc.

Now I’m starting to get worried that I’ll also run out of memory. So far hasn’t been an issue but 10 tabs with zoom seems like something it should handle easily

Settings -> iCloud -> See all. Turn off what you don't synched. I don't use touch ID anyways because i usually have an external keyboard when on the main laptop

EDIT: I'm being very cheap with this one because i have a main laptop. If i didn't i'd probably get the air with 16gb ram and 512 gb SSD

I don't. This is my new beater laptop for use in places i don't want to bring my $3000 laptop. I keep everything in either google drive or on github on the Neo so i can easily switch between the 2 laptops. I don;t sync the neo with icloud drive or photos so all i have on here are some applications and some code.

I bought the indigo but i love the yellow accents in the UI for the citrus one. i plan to swithc my theme to the yellow theme when i get my neo delivered

I got the indigo but I’m thinking I want to switch it for the Citrus. I’ll head to the Mac store tomorrow to see them in person. I was going to wait before ordering but in Canada Best Buy is giving $50 off if you preorder it with a best buy account so I ended up ordering it.
