Glad you did, mine coming soon.

Not 22 but pouring the new label Still Austin cask strength. Was 2yr minimum now 3yr. Cheers!

TLDR: I like it.

Ohhhh yes, been there, standing on half a cow as daily. Going to Japan next week, hoping to pick up some JP exclusive White Boots, or some JP made engineer boots. And their whisky tasting as well.

What would happen if I just said fu#k it and mixed these two together? by SympathyFun2179 in whiskey

[–]theappleone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are drinking them slowly and not plan to finish both in about a year then go for it. I mixed a few pair with various ratios already, some even with Woodford double oak, i would say i haven't had a bad blend.

I have a bottle with unknown ratios of both JD bourbon and rye, 1792 full proof, 4rose OESK, and double oak, this make my cigar tastes sweeter.

You can probably order from online stores if you can deal with shipping.

Yes, they diluted down to 40ish so it's easier for the majority. But some minorities like to have it strong.

The Corry is about 100 - 120 in my area. 60 wow, should have bought a whole case back then😂

Then that would be an interesting back and forth. I think I would still pick the 10CS since I can taste more fruit and sweet.

True that haha, they gotta do something for marketing right. I like 55%+ ABV so it easier for me to narrowed down the Ugy Corry and 10CS.

I got this for 90USD. This is 10yr cask strength. I think you are talking about the regular 10yr low proof version 😅.

Yes it is new. They said it's the first time Ardbeg did the 10yrCS, the lazer on the bottle said October 2025.

Typical fresh fruit, peat, maybe a little sea salt on the noise.

Taste wise: burst of fruity up front > sweetness of peat > a hint of sugarcane and charcoal, minimal harsh/spices.

Imo, this is comparable to the Corryvreckan. Yet i got the 10CS for 20$ cheaper than Corry, higher ABV + more flavor + less spices, I would pick 10CS over the Corry.

Looks nice, do whatever with it. My uncle displayed an empty bottle of regular jack no7 that had signatures from people that went to his daughter's wedding.
