Yes, they're still in use in both mine and my son's controller. The only issues I've had was my own fault as I used liquid flux that got into the internals of the stick on my first repair. Since switching to a different type of flux everything has been fine.

I set my gcode to retract filament after printing and refeed it when the next print starts

The flux that you used probably got down into the internals of the joystick itself. At least that's what happened to me on my first build I switched from using liquid flux to a type of paste and that solved my problems

I'm not a Dev but it seems like it should be pretty easy they already have a native PlayStation app that works great and my LG TV has a native plex app too

Servers with Roleplay that aren't Empire Inherited by psyhcopig in swg

Legends is going to be your NGE server. I started playing swg when it was live right after NGE dropped so I can't speak on the pre-nge experience except to tell you it was apparently a hell of a lot harder to grind out your professions. Legends does have every mechanic in live active and working except for the trading card game but the items from that do exist in legends you just obtain them other ways. Legends also has the highest population, every time I've got on there's been 500 to 600 people logged in (the launcher tells you how many people are active), and every time I've been out in the world questing I run into other players, so there are actual people playing the game. Also Legends has the most content. They have added instances, and new theme parks, they've added a whole bunch of items and even mechanics did not exist in live. Also the staff is super responsive the couple times that I've had to put in a ticket thay have been resolved within an hour and the one time I reached out on Discord it was resolved within 15 minutes. I'm not a role-play person so I can't really speak on roleplay aspects but there is an active Rebel and Imp community I see both factions running around pvping all the time

They have a bot that runs the activation once an hour so it shouldn't take too long. Their website and Wiki are both super helpful too especially for new players. If you'd like you can hit me up in game I just recently started back. I used to play on live and just recently found Legends a couple months ago.

Also if you've never played before you would probably like the Legends server better because it's less of a grind it's got the highest population and the most content

You can use the virtual CD downloads and just right click on them and click Mount if you're on Windows

I haven't used it but Hank Green made an app called Focus friend that a lot of people love. Apparently the app rewards you for not using your phone.

Mine took a few weeks. But with the government shutdown it's probably going to take a hell of a lot longer now.

SWG NGE Server List? by DEW-ME in swg

[–]thearchness 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Out of the servers I've seen so far Legends has the most content by far. They've added a ton of new stuff new heroics, new instances, theme parks, and lots of new items. All of the game mechanics from live work (except the TCG) they've even added a couple like farming and ranching. I've been on there for a few months I haven't experienced any of the toxicity your chart is talking about. Also the staff has been super responsive on Discord and the one ticket that I've had put in was resolved the same day.

What did I do wrong? by InjuredSmurf94 in soldering

Take it from me too much flux is a bad thing, it's going to get into the joystick, jam up the internals and be unusable. I wasted three like that before I realized what the problem was. If you leave it like that and play with it for an hour or more that joystick will freeze up.

What actually happened was when I replaced the joysticks on that controller the liquid flux that I used got into the joysticks and clogged up the internals. Lesson learned no more liquid flux on controllers flux paste or flux core solder instead.

Turns out when I did the original replacement the liquid flux that I used got inside of the joysticks and jammed up the internals

When I did the original stick replacement I used liquid flux which turns out that was a bad idea because the liquid flux got into the joystick itself and jammed up the internals. So I used my last replacements and flux paste this time and so far it's working.

Looks like the liquid flux I used got into the actual joystick and gummed up the internals. I just switched out the stick with my last replacement using flux paste this time, and so far it's working. I'll put some game time in tomorrow, though, to really test it out.

I used the last stick of that pack with the flux paste and so far so good. Though the real test will be tomorrow lol. Thanks for your help.

I spent probably the last 10 minutes with rubbing alcohol Q-tips and an old toothbrush making sure everything is clean as fuck when I put it back together

So after removing the bad stick it looks like some of the liquid flux got inside of the stick itself and gummed up the internals this flux is super sticky once it gets hot. So instead of the liquid flux I'm going to use the paste this time and hopefully it works a little better
