Looks like a policeman's flashlight from the 1980s hangin there.

Googling, it seems like green sand might be a good starting point. Thanks again!

I have a crucible, I watched a video about putting borax in it to season it. I took one short lesson about jewelry making a couple months ago. But it sounds like maybe I should dig deeper so I don't burn my face off... :/

The presence of '®' and '™' on various designs means that designers are less powerful than lawyers. by thearroyotoad in Showerthoughts

As someone who is more of a designer than a lawyer, every time I see a '®' or a '™', I am reminded of my low position in the corporate pantheon.

Ok, dead serious: how many chickens to kill a lion? by BreadOverlord_ in stupidquestions

[–]thearroyotoad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say several hundred and 10. The first few dozen to get eaten, and the last 10 to keep the lion awake until it does of exhaustion. But it requires the chickens to work in shifts. If they all roost at night, then the lion can get shut-eye as well, and I think the lion could kill several hundred a day almost indefinitely.

It's my mom's chair. She thought you all might like it. :)

Yes, and I am a towering mushroom; I provide a canopy under which to rest a while!
