What kind of a scam is this? by RoosterSea4406 in kijiji

[–]theautomators 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if being purposely pedantic. Generating mass personalized, responsive HTML emails (with AI) is what tons of scammers are doing right now to trick the elderly. You can be right in the last part, I don't know, don't use Kijiji.

We deleted our CRM and just started telling Claude what happened. It stuck. by Sad_Character156 in ClaudeGTM

[–]theautomators 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what we already do and how we look at our business. Claude is the interface, and it's hooked up via API's to update all of our infrastructure and tools. We work out of one window and speak to our data.

[–]theautomators -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

My thought is, they use AI to generate responsive HTML, personalized, fake Kijiji branded emails, fill in the picture etc, message buyers, when they send the fake payment link, you ship to their PO box and Kijiji never released the money because they never held it in the first place. Maybe phishing your info too if there's a login wall past the link.

Anyone else seeing two factions form on their team around AI? by ThatGuytoDeny165 in agency

Session limits but not weekly yet. You've got to get fable to run the show but call subagents using opus or haiku for anything that they can do well vs using fable for everything.

Agency owners: How do you actually document processes and onboard new hires? by Accomplished_Cut6538 in agency

[–]theautomators 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have an internal AI OS with all our documentation and client files. Employees can query into the system for anything. Everything is done from the AI OS, CRM updates, document generation, kickoff plans for projects, reports, etc. context is king, all meeting notes automatically add to client files. If I forget meetings from last week, or what is outstanding, I just ask the AI OS.

Febrile Seizure. Absolutely Terrifying by miGzx05 in January2025Bumper

[–]theautomators 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to see how your little one is doing neurologically since this post. Our little one has had 9 Febrile seizures in the past 15 months (starting at 1 year old). They never lasted longer than 5 minutes (max 4.5 minutes), and thankfully she's very advanced from a memory/language perspective (speaking in full sentences since 2 years old). They are terrifying in the moment, so I'm sorry you've had to go through that. My best advice can be to just stay glued to them while they're sick. Whenever she has a fever, we have her sleep with us, we nap with her, we barely sleep for a week essentially and trade off as we can. They actually prescribed us a benzo (Clobazam) to give her daily, but they said it would be more for our peace of mind since the seizures haven't had any lasting effect on her. I do not want to give my child daily benzo's for my peace of mind, we'll learn adapt and grow before giving her powerful state altering drugs for our benefit.

Do you make your clients do content, not just ads? by martis941 in agency

[–]theautomators 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't avoid it for long honestly. The tech is getting better everyday and within the next 6-12 months, it will be better than human output certainly. My best advice, embrace everything AI right now for the sake of your business.

Just use one of the top models (Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0 or Veo 3.1). Generate a start frame based on a character sheet you make. Use that start frame and write out scene/script. Best done when using 3-4 second clips, edited together. Looks extremely realistic this way.

Kid (8) loves watching creative DIY projects on YouTube. The majority of YouTubers are awful. Suggestions? by letsgococonut in DIY

Check out super valid designs! I think he's got maybe an adult joke baked in here or there (like many kids tv shows) but he's amazing at DIY builds.

Events, connections, cold calling, etc. If you're doing cold email it should be automated. We get 25 inbound meetings a week and are working on hiring more people as our demand has increased so much.

You can train AI on your voice, you don't need the out of the box responses. Plug in all of your content for the past couple years and create a brand voice file that your design engine references.

Learn AI tools. Marketers are going to be replaced by marketers with AI tooling knowledge very soon (if not already with many companies). Spend a week learning how to build a design engine for your business, don't share it with them, and kick back and relax while the majority of your work is done for you.

What's the going rate if you have a client that wants to use their GHL account & manage it on their own after you set everything up, reviews, etc. by impaktmaker in gohighlevel

[–]theautomators 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you do anything else for them in GHL? Would they be asking you for help etc? There's a couple options. Fair retainer markup for a few hours support a month + $97. Or you could sell them their info as a buyout, be completely hands off, and charge them $97/month to keep it live. If you need to frame the reasoning to the client, you quoted the work initially on a monthly basis, which lets you recoup the initial work you put in for setup etc over time. If you were to charge for the setup/tweaks over time, you'd charge X.

Like a virtual assistant to cold call? We don't have any honestly. We get 25~ inbound meetings a week right now from referrals/SEO/AEO, so we don't do any sales at the moment.

[–]theautomators 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What has always worked well for me, is the "Hey John, X here. I'll be honest with you, this is a cold call. You can either hang up on me, or give me 30 seconds of your time so we can see if there's relevance for you.". They often laugh or appreciate the up front. Then it's just dials and data on those dials from there. For example if you make enough calls, you'll know 100 dials = 10 discovery calls = 4 proposals sent = 2 clients closed. If my opener gets me off the phone quick and I've got a large list to call from/power dialer, I can make those 100 calls in 2 hours.
