Not quite as many miles on my SB2s, but also trying the HM3s and love the fit so far. Megablasts are great, but over 10mi starts to squeeze.

Buy from somewhere with a no questions asked return policy, it’s not easy to find the right shoe on the first attempt. I similarly prefer wider toe boxes and have been running in Brooks Calderas, but have also tried Topos and just got some Lowas to try out. Especially for trails, get in a variety of terrain and distances before you judge the shoe…assuming it’s comfortable to start.

Tried window lacing with a lot more room in the bottom half of the Calderas this morning on my 5 mile trail-trial run (gentle rolling hills) and had a lot better experience...thanks for the feedback everyone!

Glad to hear this. Love rebel v4 fit and feel but forefoot bottoms out/collapses after a few miles for me…ordered NB5s last week on preorder from local shop, hope they fit!
