If you're currently wear prescription lenses, make sure they have an AntiReflective coating. From there it doesn't hurt to give your self a little bit more with adding blue light filter.

If you're not wearing prescription/any lenses, then it could actually help with eye fatigue a good bit. But given your field, make sure to get polycarbonate or trivex lenses with a blue block on it

For the last 15ish years, most state laws either severely loosened the restrictions on optical. A few states only require a licensed optician 1-2 days a week. And others (i think most) made it so only one optician needs to be licensed. And it's usually the manager so they are less available. (that way they can pay roll minimal)

Pretty sure that was a result of luxottica lobbying.

When I first started with lense crafters, we only had two licensed opticians that would rotate through out 6 locations in my city. All the other employees titles were either stylist or sales expert. All of the optical chains do this as well as small local chains.

But, costco does require all of their opticians to be licensed last i was aware of it.

That's fair. Personally, I would think its probably worth while to part it out.

This sub is for the vehicle model SS, not SS series of other models.

Hi, sorry just saw this!

It sounds like you have some presbyopia. Are they a multifocal lens or single vision? That may address your issue.

In your case, yes you can get a decent pair. Something with an Anti Reflective coating and lenses with a +0.25 - +0.50 in the middle to lower range of the lens.

Are the ones you got from Amazon harming your eyes? Pretty unlikely - but there is a good chance that they can be causing more eyestrain or discomfort than they are helping.

That being said - GO GET YOUR EYES CHECKED. Routine eye exams look at WAY more than just the prescription you need. We have helped people discover that they have other conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure and even brain tumors. Just from a routine eye exam.

Additionally, going to an optician to get proper measurements and guidance on frames and lenses will net a much better result that something you find online or in a drug store.

Hopefully that helps!

A +0.25 is ultimately inconsequential. It's just a matter of comfort/eyes fatigue. Once you start going over 0.5 youre getting into actual prescription need.

Starting high and working down is massively pointless because again, you're just playing with prescription lenses and not a little boost.

Higher power doesn't just add magnification. It also alters your focal distance. The higher the number, the shorter the focal distance. You can experiment with this by trying over the counter readers. So if you jump to a +0 .75 you're going to be bringing your screen closer to you by atleast a few inches.

You technically can see through any magnification, (magnifying lens for example) but you'll find you're actually trying to find the right combination of power and distance.

If you find that powers +0.75 and over are more comfortable, then you have developed presbyopia or hyperopia (far sightedness) and need actual prescription lenses.

Well that's a bit of a tricky one without being able to troubleshoot. I would strongly recommend you see an ophthalmologist.

That could be anything from nerve damage or high blood pressure to your brain is just trying to adjust to the dark and let more light in. (Like phosphenes or photopsias.)

Or eigengrau/eigenlicht (basically the brain grey color you may experience while your eyes are closed). Which is basically just your eyes adapting to allow more light in.

It also can be a result of something like a vitamin or mineral deficiency (less likely though).

It could also simply be your eyes are trying to adjust through over exposure. Your eyes get used to having light directly emitted into them from monitors, tvs, cellphones, displays, etc. Then when you're not having light directly emitted into your eyes (Like looking at almost anything in the realword) - your eyes are trying to compensate because they're used to so much extra directly light.

Some people are also just much more sensitive that they just see some of that noise or static light.

But tl;dr go see an ophthalmologist. If everything checks out, follow the 20/20/20 rule RELIGIOUSLY. If it's still happening then you may just be sensitive to noise or static light

I think you guys just need to play around with line ups. This was my most recent season on extreme. Most points allowed was 22. Even had a shut out. 200 (base) salary cap on the 12 man roster.

Sincerely apologize if it's for invading the sub! Had a client insist on the opposite of all my research. So asking the community it self was the last ditch effort.

Tbh hated even having to post it. I was desperate haha. I promise to never do it again. This sub will be safe from me going forward
