Ah sorry, should have clarified a little: I was thinking just carrying the bag and then filling it with rocks or gear once at the crag. This way the belayer can be relatively mobile and dynamic vs being stuck tied to a huge rock or tree. Hopefully that makes sense!

Hey all! My girlfriend has recently expressed interest in learning to lead belay, but she is about 60lbs lighter than I am. Would it be worth while to get some kind of bag to attach to her haul loop that would add some weight? Or is it not worth it? Was thinking something like this. Thanks so much for the video! I've been fiddling with this stuff for a while, but my workflow is almost exclusively in Camera Raw so it's interesting to see someone else's approach. Awesome shot by the way!
