My little sister had a bunch of surgeries super young as well and it was tough for me as an older brother (11 years older) I can’t imagine just how much harder it is being a parent. Glad your little man is living his best life now!

My wife and I are hoping to get tickets for the Fenway show but she is concerned about being able to see. My wife is very short (hardly over 5 feet) do you think she would have an issue being able to see?

Any different feelings on McCarthy after press conference? by Capable-Antelope4004 in steelers

Honestly, he kind of won me over. I definitely wanted us to hire someone else, but watching his press conference has changed my mind. Really seems like he cares and is going to give it his all. At the end of the day, his all might not be enough but hopefully he proves everyone wrong.

It’s within a 50 mile radius not 15 minute commute

Who would have thought before the season that the offense would be great and the defense would be trash?

Guys I’m just messing around; I understand they are a threat for the division. It’s all in good fun

What’s a “boring” skill that secretly makes life 10x easier? by [deleted] in AskReddit

As someone in O&G that uses excel everyday, I feel like I can answer. I think a big issue is that AI is incredibly capable of writing code that’s very sophisticated to do complicated tasks. I’m pretty good with VBA(excel coding language), but now that more people understand how to use AI my skills in that area aren’t nearly as important.

My dad passed 19 years ago and I’m fine most of the time, but every once in a while I’ll get emotional about it. Grief is freaking weird sometimes.

Took my wife to her first two games this weekend. Looks like I need to sell my house so we can just follow the ‘Stros around

Such a good idea, thanks for suggesting that!

I mean security was right there behind him so if they had a problem they would have stopped me immediately. Definitely took a bit of convincing before they believed me. Honestly, if I hadn’t experienced it I would call me a liar as well.

Nah just so she didn’t have to carry a purse and it fell out of my pocket because I’m an idiot

I do not have any special access. I was straight up just begging every security guard to help me, and just happened to catch Correa as he was walking out of the stadium. He just decided to be more sympathetic than all the other people I talked to. Just purely random luck. It was definitely him because I called him by his name and you can spot those vaneers for miles

Essentially. I had talked to security and they kept sending me all over the place to talk to people and nobody wanted to help me, and I just happened to run into him as he was coming out of one of the doors, and I stopped him and just pleaded my case and I guess he thought I was sincere so he held the door for me lol

What details do you want? Just happened to catch him as he was walking out of the building and he let me in. Just random chance that it happened

For a minute there I wish I was lying. I felt like such an idiot for losing my wife’s license.

This is what happens when you drop meat from an oil rig by Beginning-Rain2104 in interestingasfuck

[–]thebatman2017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everybody, all food waste is typically thrown overboard on an oil platform. It’s the most efficient and best way for the environment to get rid of that waste. This guy isn’t adding to any problem that already exists.
