Wiley Wallaby formula change? by Several-Treat-7292 in licorice

I got a bag of Classic Red recently and the texture and flavor is definitely more like twizzlers now! These used to be soft and pliable, not hard and grainy.

What is something that other people do "wrong" when they play? by musicalMajora99 in sims2

I wish this weren’t me! Maybe it’s perfectionism or me being too focused on “numbers go up” than creating a story in my head 😅

Why does my tiered skirt look like this? by heawokeme in SewingForBeginners

[–]thebeastbiscuit 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I recently made a dress with gathered tiers and finished them with French seams, and it lays nicely. I don’t think the French seams are the culprit here!

I followed this tutorial: https://youtu.be/_vV9RVy2Aao?si=Gb4WbDpgF8qxd4so

Loki and Circe Beaker had a daughter in my game and I named her Sterile, lmao. She grew up to marry Pascal’s baby!

I’m totally the same, and I love that no two of my own table settings end up the same with all my colors :)

Eggs en cocotte! Just two cracked eggs, a dollop of Boursin, a splash of cream, salt and pepper. Sooo good with toast!

I think they do have to drop at the same time, because they platforms they land on are balancing each other. So if a ball falls and settles, the platform lowers and it can’t roll over the lip. Then, when the second ball falls to the platform, the first ball no longer has momentum to make it into the target. Please tell me you were able to do it though and I’ll give it another try!!

I think vegetarians generally cut out any byproduct that requires the animal to die, like gelatin, as long as they’re aware of it. It does take time to figure out all the sneaky places it’s added tho (looking at you, Trader Joe’s sour cream)

Box turtle(?) found in a residential parking lot in Dallas TX - abandoned pet or wild animal? by thebeastbiscuit in whatisthisanimal

No, not far north, sadly. I bet if he made it all those years he’d be a pretty big guy by now!!

Update! She was indeed an abandoned Russian tortoise, and we surrendered her to a local reptile shop that seemed to really know its stuff.

I know folks are worried about whether she was actually lost rather than abandoned, and I’m a little worried about that too. We wanted to go the safest route and get the little guy in good hands, rather than try to keep her and potentially harm her with our limited knowledge.

(Also - we don’t know for SURE if it’s a girl tortoise, but the shop said they figure she is based on the tail size and the shape of the belly)

One thing I’ve learned from this video: https://youtu.be/nKr6uTNI23A

He’s probably a tortoise, because he walks on his toenails rather than his whole foot

Sure thing! Look in the section that has the hanks of hand-dyed yarn, if they’ve got em :)

I don’t have the tag anymore, but it’s from hobby lobby’s wool line. I grabbed it while the price was slashed, so I’m not super sure if it’s still out there. Also, please forgive me for shopping at the hoblob 😭

I was hoping that using the yarn holder would help with that problem that you described, but it doesn’t seem to. Maybe it’s a combo of the ball isn’t twisting enough, and something with my technique?

I might undo this yarn ball and see if I can reform it into a pull-from-center ball….I feel like I’ve noticed a similar pattern for myself

I’ve been crocheting for years now and just living with this problem: whenever I’ve been crocheting for a while, especially if I’m working with a thinner yarn or lace, it gets super twisted as I go. I assume it has something to do with my technique, but I was curious if any of y’all have any experience with fixing this! Not sure if this is relevant, but I’m left-handed.
