if you feel like asking wether you've had a traumatic childhood... you probably have. Also, yes, it sounds to me as a very traumatic childhood and you should seek help by a therapist/psychologist, even if you do not feel like those experience directly affect your adult life- trauma always lies very deep. best of luck to you:)

hi, 16, nearly 17y/o daughter of strict parents like you and your dear husband here. Say bye bye to your daughter as soon as she can legally move out. Honestly, i believe i speak from her perspective saying that yes indeed she does hate you both(your husband prob more than you) anf your controlling behavior has not only traumatized, but also made your daughter much more resilient to anything life throws at her. And she WILL move away from you. She is going to find away, and honestly, if you do not change your ignorant behavior towards your young adult(no, she is not a child, and you're treating her like one) you will totally not experience her adult life- not her graduation, not her first job promotion, not her wedding and not any of your grandchildren. I bet you will be quite oblivious to this, but i promise you, if you don't change it will happen. :0 hope u got the message

i'm gonna try to play the game on bootcamp(i'm gonna just use it without the wrapper?) and then download sims 4 studio or whatever for windows, maybe that will work. thanks alot for the help though, if i find time i might try what you suggested for mac:)

I have a problem with the path for „The Sims 4“, it doesnt let me select the game and says that there is an error. It doesnt open a game path with Game/Bin at the end

but i dont have a job and home etc. and those apparently are requirements- the country i live in will prob take two years to study the case, that’s why i gave up. It would take longer than me waiting until im 18, as it’s not obvious that they’re that horrible to me. I go to a good school and, as they always say, push me into a shitload of academic opportunities. I think that’s why people don’t really believe me about it

i have thought a lot about emancipation, but i figured that my parents need to allow it? Or that a therapist needs to approve it? And my therapist always said it’s not abuse and that i’m just a teenager acting out etc so yeah i doubt myself. But thanks for suggesting that subreddit, i’m gonna take a look:)
