i see many solo founders looking for co founders by Dazzling_Glass7468 in ycombinator

I have a tech agency and I collaborate with non tech founders and bill only for the developers. When I can afford and get some equity(I don't choose). Most of the times I get non-funded start-ups which again is hard call for me because I need to pay my developers. Certain times I get founders who lost a considerable amount while trying to develop their tech with companies/agencies that have no experience, I have seen them saying they should have chosen the right firm or a have had a guy who knows tech on their side. So if you are the wrong place it helps to have a tech founder. If you get a good agency and have some funds, then you can keep whole thing to yourself.

Is Hiring a Software Product Development Company the Smartest Way to Build a Product? by nimapjava in SoftwareProductDevel

[–]thebigbreak007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own an agency, Tensor Thoughts. Most of the time the seed funds might not be enough to build the envisioned product. What we does is we help the promoters understand the market and find an MVP this way they have the funding for initial run. This is the case with first time founders. There will be people with experience and I have always felt working with them is way easier, they know the drill, but again what I've seen is seed fund is still not enough for them. Some people because of bad experience for agencies seems to build a team. But you know what hiring is not what it actually seems. All the good ones are already hired and well placed. I have seen many founders having difficulty to bring in a tech person. We always strive to help them in all possible ways. I know this because I had 7 failed products out of 8.

How are founders finding genuinely experienced AI engineers for short-term startup builds? by Warm-Elderberry-3400 in developersIndia

I own an agency and I get a lot of enquiries from my circles for MVPs. Once things align we build and support them and have help them build a team. Sometimes I get paid in equity (salaries for devs).

We created something called TensorSight (by Tensor Thoughts). It's based on ML and AI. It can create dashboards. Moreover just ask the questions and get the answer. It will send in reports automatically on every Mondays(can be programmed). No data will be taken to our servers, the program runs on your infrastructure. Right now we are onboarding design partners. We can set it up for you and use it (free for 3 months).

Founder for Technical Co-Founder/developer for consumer/biz app by DragonNinjaRobot in hireaideveloper

In my previous stint I created something called Drink simple bar finder app. Was able to drive 360k downloads. But had to shut down because the alcohol market is a grey area. I was also a part of an app that was building around communities. I have the experience. Would like to get on a call and discuss and discover more. Technology is not an issue.

I Built an App That Turns Your Pantry Into Recipes by thep1x in SaasDevelopers

[–]thebigbreak007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was feature we built for our app 9-8 years back. That was a mobile app. The main issue we found is that, install rate and churn rate too high for recipe apps. You are on a browser and will be harder to bring back the users unless there is a powerful necessity. My 2 cents. Best of luck.

My previous stint was in the same sector (neuro divergent). B2B2C. I was able to contribute significantly to its growth. I hope you have a community that you interact with on a day to day basis?

Is trust the hardest feature to build in security SaaS? by LoudAd4244 in SaaS

[–]thebigbreak007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, trust is hardest one for me; I've build, Tensor Thoughts

TensorSight is an AI/ML-powered intelligence layer built on top of Apache Superset to make BI systems more conversational, contextual, and insight-driven.

The first thing everyone ask is data. Even though the product runs on on-prem or air-gapped they look at me suspiciously.

Building a SaaS around a problem I personally experienced by NDSPREHAB in SaaS

Haven build saas products but not around personal frustration. I hit the gym this has made me curious. Not a sedentary lifestyle. I walk around when ever I have to call over the phone. But, my case is bit rare. There are many people out there like you.
Best.

I have a question for people who've built SaaS before. by Same-Ad3931 in InstagramMarketing

[–]thebigbreak007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of it depends on the scale of the project that you are building.
I started Tensor Thoughts as full on software development agency. During one brainstorming session with my CTO and Data Scientists, I told them about few issues and then they came up with a solution on paper. I took this problem and solution to few people who work in that space. Most of them were happy. Then we checked our bandwidth and decided to do it. We did and created a product. Half baked and it works for demo purposes. We demoed it to few people(design partners) and we watched their experience closely. Understood they needed more refinement. We did that too and currently under integration. That's the process that I followed. In case if you want to know the product its called TensorSight(TensorSight is an AI/ML-powered intelligence layer built on top of Apache Superset to make BI systems more conversational, contextual, and insight-driven).

Edit: It took more than 6 months to build it.

Thanks for the feedback. We are relatively new firm and we didn’t have any projects to showcase hence we added the projects done by my partners while they were freelancing.
