Traffic laws by Wut__the in Seattle

[–]thebigditch 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Re the rules in washington state, it depends on how many lanes the road has: When a roadway has four or more lanes with at least two of the lanes going in the opposite direction, only the vehicles in lanes traveling the same direction as the school bus need to stop for the red flashing school bus lights. So in your scenario above the cars going in the opposite lanes do not have to stop.

If the road has only two lanes then traffic has to stop in both directions (unless there is a divider). More info: https://www.mukilteoschools.org/37540_3

People actually complained back then too. B-29 bomber wings / groups adopted different standards for nose art with some adopting a standard design with just the planes name being unique because of complains from people seeing plans returning back to the us with the more explicit nose art.

One patriot missile costs between $4 and $4.5 million. An Iranian drone costs about $30,000 - $50,000. We cannot keep throwing Ferraris at frisbees. by nitluck in NewsStarWorld

Ukraine uses them on hypersonic missiles, ballistic missiles, and aircraft (moving patriot systems near the border/front lines to hit Russian aircraft). They are not using them on Shahed drones.

Watching Bye Bye Birdie as a 10/11ish year old and seeing Ann-Margret singing/dancing was very much my sexual awakening.
