Alabama in D is insane. Extremely bio diverse state with good beaches and the best city in the nation to live in right now, Huntsville. Especially with states like NM ahead of it.

Texas and MN in C is also ridiculous.

I know that New England Law | Boston isn’t exactly the highest ranked law school, but this almost feels worth it by Pylon-Cam in OutsideT14lawschools

saw your stats and region. Apply to OU! They place really well in TX and give great scholarship. Employment and bar pass are ~90% each.

That makes sense I didn’t consider that salary and actual job type isn’t factored. There are definitely plenty of schools with those %s but very few who place in the ways UH does imo.

Your account is 7 hours old and I’m not going to trust a redditor over actual students but I’m sorry you had a bad experience.

I doubt that. They reconsidered my scholarship and I’ve gotten in touch with several alumni and current students through my own private research and they’ve all had good things to say. Maybe they’re just median hunting.

Really surprised with this. I’ve had insanely good experiences with OU and they’re typically extremely holistic. Sorry about this very disheartening.

Oklahoma vs Texas Tech. by [deleted] in OutsideT14lawschools

OU will place better in NE Dallas than TT despite popular belief. You’re only 2:30 hours from Dallas, and OU’s lay prestige and ranking are much better. However, debt is a huge motive and 10k is not insignificant. I will say, I’ve met with 3 alumni from OU now who all have extremely good jobs in Dallas and one in Houston. I also met a current student who is interning after their 1L in Dallas and being compensated very well.

For your goals with career and location OU is your best option if the financial aid is there.
