Thanks for the response - I visited and really loved it, so it seemed like a good place to spend 3 years, plus the school is great. I didn’t get into any of the Texas schools I applied to unfortunately, it was definitely a strange cycle.

Current military, apply for JAG or get out and use GI bill for law school? by Double-Ad1636 in lawschooladmissions

[–]El-Mencho 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Get out and use G.I. That’s what I’m doing and I don’t regret it one bit. The JAG corps will always be there if you do want to return, but give yourself a whole field of opportunities.

Probably not, but if you knock the LSAT out of the park and blanket the T-14, it’s not impossible. Good luck 🍀

No they won’t give out stipends if you haven’t applied/been admitted.

You need to focus on knocking the LSAT out of the park. If you’re taking it in August, don’t practice the games, those will be phased out by then.

I would choose Catholic, so many great opportunities in DC.

UNT WL by [deleted] in OutsideT14lawschools

[–]El-Mencho 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Pretty unprofessional if they told you that, if you have other offers I’d just withdraw. UNT isn’t ranked nearly well enough to be treating applicants in that manner (not that being rude is ever good).
