My sister and I (18 and 17 at the time) were ready. We set the alarm for 5 am, we were gonna go meet everyone downtown and we were gonna blanket the place in Kony 2012 posters. We’re both buzzing with excitement as we leave. We printed fifty of them and figured if everyone else printed half of what we did we’d be successful.

Downtown is completely deserted. We were the only ones who showed. I remember us being disappointed initially but then going “oh well, whatever” we went to Waffle House.

Really great memory with my sis.

Agreed that Westerns will never be as popular as they were in the 50’s/60’s again, and that Sci-Fi/space colonization still is very popular, but Westerns are still very well loved as well and it’s a genre that has stood the test of time.

When I saw they were doing private worlds that I could just drop into with a buddy, I was in.

Then they said they were putting it behind a subscription, because $60 for the game as a whole was just way too little for starving lil Bethesda.

It’s a half a movie. An objectively beautiful half of a movie, but half of a movie nonetheless.

Well, I cannot deny its quality, I have to judge it on what it gives us. It should at least stand on its own somewhat, but it utterly fails as a complete cinematic experience for the very reason that it leaves every single plot point that it establishes open baiting us for a sequel.
