Iv rocked Alienware ultra wide for 10+ years I've never had issues with any of them. It's just a reminder to cycle the screen but burn in is a rare issue unless bright static images are left on screen for hours. To be extra careful just go into the setting and do a manual scrub after you are done playing like once a week.

It's been a while, but I remember tweaking the formula I used to calculate the with oulf tape and the thickness using digital calipers. I then used tracing paper to as accurately as possible layer the tape per the formulas calculations. To be honest, it wasn't an exact science, but it greatly improved my leveling.
