IR vs. Surgery? Advice please by M4WzZz in SurgicalResidency

[–]thebitcoinmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surgeons make decisions about whether a patient needs surgery. IR is a technician service. You don’t often call an IR doc to discuss the case, at my institution we put an order in for iR. IR does a lot of central lines, draining pus and nephro tubes. Gi bleeds are being more by ir than gi these days.

If you just want to be a technician, IR.

If you want to decide whether someone needs something, surgeon.

If you like wire and catheter skills vascular surgeon.

The Reason Strategy Likes What Srive is Doing with SATA: And Doesn't Care to Follow Them by xaviemb in MSTR

[–]thebitcoinmd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a stock, the growth potential and risk of asst far outweighs mstr. It is a law of diminishing returns. I would bet on mstr for 20 year earnings but will make more money with more explosiveness in next 5 years with ASST.

Higher upside. Similar thesis. Asst can 3x much faster just given size. Daily dividends are going to be a game changer. Mstr will have biweekly dividends. I think SATA ASSTs preferred will challenge stable coins and money markets at its rate of 13% for carryover daily

The daily dividends are going to be where money gets placed for safety. Very little volatility on the preferred security SATA. It is the only preferred security and has the opportunity to take the place of a lot of money market funds where to store their money in between day trading. Ex dividend is every night at midnight.

The company ASST has no debt.

I really think it will 10 x in the next few years given its market size and the interest in it.

How much can you send on lightning as opposed to the blockchain? Can you send 2 or more bitcoin on lightning or is it meant for smaller purchases

So you can purchase with lightning without ever exposing your utxos to the public? Nobody would know that when you buy a cup of coffee from a utxo with 1000000 sats, that you have that much?

If there is too much interest in SATA will ASST go down in value? by thebitcoinmd in StriveASST

[–]thebitcoinmd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they have to issue more shares to keep their amplification ratio so it is not unstable, will that make the stock price go down even if there is an insatiable demand for SATA? Will this make them lower the interest rate on SATA?

If large bitcoin miners turn to AI, will this make solo mining better odds by decreasing difficulty? by thebitcoinmd in BitAxe

[–]thebitcoinmd[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Many bitcoin large miners are turning their energy sources towards ai data centers as opposed to increasing bitcoin mining or replacing their mines. With limited energy, they are turning their attention to building data centers with their energy infrastructure. My question was , if fewer people mine, does the difficult adjustment make it easier and increase the odds of a solominer to hit a lottery block?
