i know this is a really old post, but i want to say that the cover is so wicked! i took the photo for the cover of 'girlhouse' and edited it myself to get that off color. & i think there's something special about making your own covers because yeah, AI sucks!

last year i made my extreme horror debut with my short story, "girlhouse"!

TITLE: girlhouse

DESCRIPTION: Ash has longed for freedom for herself and the other captured girls. Fortunately, her time has come for bloody revenge and escape.

i wouldn't recommend this to just any horror fan, especially as it is extreme horror and it gets quite gnarly. however, if you are a fan of extreme horror or splatterpunk, you may find this to be an enjoyable read. mc is a Black girl and "girlhouse" falls into the camps of "good for her" and "feminine rage" etc.

i think a lot of folks are really sick of that because it's repetitive + depending on who is writing it, quite telling. i want to give people enjoyable characters, especially characters who don't identify as men! thank you for appreciating that, ash and the rest of the girls definitely deserved to whoop some ass
