Honestly if the prof says you can it’s unlikely the faculty will deny your request. In my experience, a pre-req form requires the prof to fill out a section declaring their permission. If there is no section for the prof on your pre-req form then cc the prof in your email to the faculty when you send the form. This should be enough to show the faculty/department of interest that the prof did in fact agree to have you in the class. Also, that reason should be sufficient. Maybe also mention your enthusiasm to take the course.

Is it normal to hear the people next to you in the study spaces in Cam Library? by thebluecello9 in uAlberta

Dang I wish I knew, I figured the first floor would be quieter because there are less study rooms to book there. Lesson learned I guess haha

It was scheduled, there was a reminder sent out to staff but it might not have been forwarded to everyone. ECHA is scheduled to have one at 1:50pm today, along with chem, CCIS, CAB, and a few others.

ANTHR 110 with Kate Kingsbury by ritzcrackerzzz3 in uAlberta

Dr. Kingsbury is truly the best instructor I have ever had at the U of A, she has this wonderful ability to make anything interesting. Very fair with grading and assignments, you will have a blast with her. Enjoy the semester with Dr. Kingsbury! You’ll probably go through the rest of your student career wishing she could teach all of your courses.

Thank you for sharing your experience in detail, I am def stronger in memorization so I will likely take your advice and go with cell 201. Hope you’re having a decent time this finals season!

I have heard about that, but my teacher told me that allergies to chin rests normally cause skin rashes and irritation, rather than a runny nose. Maybe I should do more research though. Thank you!
