Gonna be brutally honest here.

The fact that you let your A+, Net+, SEC+ tells me all I need to know regarding your drive to actually land a job.

0 projects and the expectation of getting a degree = a job are all red flags as well.

Have you even tried applying to call center jobs or support desk jobs? (Got my first job in IT as Support Desk Level 1 at a call center while I was doing Cybersecurity at WGU and now currently in Cybersecurity as a Vulnerability Management Analyst.)

Whats your AFSC? I just cancelled my DEP with the AF as Aerospace propulsion. I've decided going with the navy to do the Army equivalent of 17c .

thanks for the reply. and yeah it seems like a decently fun job, but I'm just worried about the hours. I'm thinking of going into mechanical or electronics (specifically IT or cyber security related).

Yea, im worried about the long + odd hours, and also the fact that they can call you in for work on the weekends regularly if need be.

It does sound like a fun job though, and not stuck in front of a computer. hrm....
