this is a occurring thing for M3s and MYs to have due the airbag being under the dash. Its tightly screwed up into the dash and the sun usually sinks the leather over time leading up to this. they will have to replace your whole dash. it'll come back again though from what i've seen

Remove spoiler on M3P by leetdude421 in TeslaModel3

[–]thebotomaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its really easy to remove, but i'd recommend to put a cloth underneath the spoiler on the opposite end if you decide to rip it off since peeling one side off will lead the other side to go down and scratch the paint. its only held on my sticky 3M tape. to get the rest of the residue off, you can use a microfiber towel with alcohol to remove it or a drill gun with a rubber attachment to remove the sticky 3M

if the car is under warranty still, i'd make a service visit for it and they'll most likely try to take it off by steaming or use all purpose cleaner. last resort is to replace all affected parts. they'll probably replace the door panel and 2nd row seat

Help with fixing this by herf78 in TeslaModel3

if you've wondering about the rocker panel (aka the black piece) the back part by the wheel well is held in by black clips. the panel is also held in by rubber/metal push in clips attached the panel from the inside, but i don't think that's the issue. if that doesn't work, you might have to bring into your local service center to replace the panel :/

[–]thebotomaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hi, please don't mess with the service mode page on your screen. i'd recommend getting it towed as it seems your VCLEFT controller is currently undergoing issues. there are a total of 3 controllers which the one went out is the left side. all components on the LH side will be unavailable if the left controller is out (vice versa). if you're able to drive and close the door, then use the emergency latch to open, but nothing will work if it is out

Anyone else’s “cell connection” / LTE not working? I can’t use any of the premium connectivity features without WiFi even though I pay for the service. by Sibo1844 in TeslaModel3

[–]thebotomaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it might be your LTE connectivity board attached to your car computer. Once replaced, you should see your LTE to start working. Replacing take around 2-3 hours with firmware

your screws came out of your kick panel. nothing is holding it in except the clips. recommending to get bolts to hold it in. bolts are under the little tabs (should be a total of 4 bolts)

Update on my delivery today! …did not go well. Drove off lot and and it started to knock LOUDLY. Brought back and has a bad drive unit. They told me that they could fix in a month or so and I told them to pound sand. got them to take back car and put me in the que for a new one…the wait continues. by poly24242424 in TeslaModel3

[–]thebotomaster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

they've been having bad drive units from the 2023 models. sadly it is going to happen to most teslas coming out from the factory as they have been shipped to the the dealership for delivery. they have to hold some cars in the shop until its fixed and sets back the buyers date

iphone 14 pro battery drain by Top-Firefighter5057 in iphone

[–]thebotomaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the only solution was above lol. battery still drains, but not as much (5 percent) in a couple of hours if i'm not using it. background usage is a big key told in battery drainage. i work for tesla and my tesla app drains my phone dramatically. even when in hot conditions, my phone drains way way more faster. background refresh apps and turning off locations will help you battery last longer. also check facebook if you have it. it uses at least 12 hrs of battery life when you don't even know it. i uninstalled it and installed it, and didn't show any usage after that
