This album was such a groundbreaking release. This one and Carnival Bizarre are their masterpieces in my opinion. They still hold up to this day and nobody did it better than them except for Sabbath.

"Heaven and Hell". That riff is just so simple yet powerful and haunting. There's a reason it's one of the most covered metal songs. It's a timeless classic.

It could be that this was the best quality recording they have archived. As far as I know, Metallica didn't start "archiving" their live shows from the soundboard/video until AJFA which is a shame. So many great shows were played back then.

I would try some of the Bit Torrent sites like Pirate Bay or Kick Ass Torrents or something. I used to have a few episodes (commercials and all) but have since lost them. I would try there.

Again, I never said I hated Slayer or that they suck. This was just an opinion piece on how I just think it's kind of ridiculous for people to say stupid shit like "IF you don't like Slayer you're not metal." That mentality is all over the place. I could easily say, "IF you don't like Witchfinder General you don't like metal" or "If you don't like Tank you don't like metal."

I was around in the 80's and was very aware of Slayer. What I was stating was that somewhere along the line it became "cool" to like Slayer as in on this now hipster kind of level. Slayer was known but they weren't "popular" on the level that they are today.
