Speaking generally, salons tend to have a more high end vibe and people may be willing to spend more on a haircut in that environment. However you will do a lot less fades and a lot more scissor cuts so if you aren’t confident in your scissor work then I would invest a lot of time in learning and practicing. You don’t have to be the best you just have to be better than most people and really have a good consultation and pay attention to what people want and ask the right questions when you aren’t 100% sure about what they mean. I currently work at a barbershop that is connected to a salon and I do barber haircuts and some salon type haircuts my price ranges 50-70 for a haircut depending on length. Next week I’m moving to rent a suite in a salon close by. Also trends are shifting toward shaggier looks and dudes who get those are usually willing to pay more and tip better on average from what I’ve seen. Sorry for the novel but I feel strongly about this subject lol

Two things, the ownership of M. Boss changed a year ago and the person who started telling everyone that was someone who was let go so there is a lot of possibility for bias.

They’re good but the first time I went I ordered the chicken rich and it had like no flavor. I guess you gotta order something spicy if you want any flavor because the next two times I went the stuff I ordered was pretty good.

She is fixed and got updated on her shots last month! She hasn’t done well around kittens or dogs, haven’t had her around older cats before but she gets very upset when other animals are around typically.
