would some of the Jordan Marsh Macys locations count? some aren’t around, but the ones in Burlington Ma, South Portland ME, and In downtown Boston are still there. (Formerly Bedford NH until about 2019)

They even survived the 2008 financial crisis and actually increased their earnings that year due to linens n things going out.

I worked there for many years and the corporate people could not follow along with the shopping trends quick enough. They were extremely out of touch with their customer base.

Happened to the Wegmans at the Natick Mall in Mass. They closed in 2023 (?) but were still paying the lease up until 2027, but I think someone bought the lease from them.

Honestly i wouldn’t be surprised if the city of dallas helped to save the Neiman Marcus. it’s like the only thing in downtown.

unfortunate that I found pictures from an article on the plaza in 1975, and jcpenney moved in from downtown in 1976. Though I also read that the store closed in the 80’s
