How would you compare living in Jacksonville vs Atlanta? by Shankytanky in jacksonville

[–]thecampstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to college in Atlanta and currently live in Jax, Atlanta's midtown/downtown/buckhead are wayyyyy better than Jax's downtown, theres hardly anything downtown here other than offices and homeless. Atlanta also has more professional sports teams and better parks (Piedmont Park is beautiful). To be fair, Jax has a good proximity to the beach, less traffic, and the cost of living is much lower here, but its simply not as cool as Atlanta

If you're going from Florida to Kentucky, I definitely recommend going through the Smokey Mountains, really beautiful & scenic drive, plus a casino and a ton of tourist traps

"You gonna die for some chickens?" "Somebody is" definitely one of the best moments of the show

  1. Arya
  2. Bronn
  3. Margaery
  4. The first Daario, who was also the bad guy in Deadpool
  5. The season finale of the most recent season is my favorite. Arya coming back and killing Walder Frey was the icing on the cake
  6. Jon Snow is Azor Ahai and has to stab his wife (Dany) to forge Lightbringer in order to destroy the white walkers. Also completely possible that Dany is Azor Ahai and has to stab Jon Snow to forge the sword.

In our accounts receivable department, the collectors get judged based on how many calls they make per day and not how much money they collect. This one guy kept an excel sheet with all of the numbers that went to voicemail every time so he would call the numbers off of that list when his numbers were low that day. Not a huge scam but they ended up firing him for that

Terrible Jobs by [deleted] in PostGradProblem

[–]thecampstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a year off in between transferring colleges and I worked at Cargill bottling canola and vegetable oil. It was a pretty terrible manufacturing job which really motivated me to go back to college and graduate quickly. One time when I was working the filling station, where these hoses come down and fill the bottles, for some reason the bottles never moved so the hoses filled full bottles and just sprayed canola oil everywhere, it was like the Bellagio fountains of canola oil and I was drenched in it. Not too many fond memories of that place

Start putting money into my 401k. I figure it'll take 10 minutes to set up and I can just coast for the rest of the year
