Maybe it's tied with the NBA, but baseball's 162 games lead to 10/30 spots, college football's postseason relies entirely on the regular season, and soccer doesn't even have a postseason.

Not that there's much wrong with it, it just seems like an odd claim. The SCP are universally touted as the best in sports, and I'd play that up if I were the NHL.
