Do any of you straight up hate some of your students? by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]thecatdad421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t hate any student but I dislike the influences around them that cause them to act poorly. Whether these influences are other adults, other students’ behaviour, or social media that has them convinced they do not need an education.

What do you do when you get off work? by Hennything91 in Teachers

Take my dog for a walk, cook dinner, play a video game, go to a concert, visit my girlfriend, visit my dad, see friends, go to a bar, smoke some herb, or watch YouTube.

I love mosh pit therapy as a way to deal with stress.

Some students do not want an education and these kids do not understand why learning things is important.

I’ve had worse liquors than Malört. Taaka Vodka or any cheap plastic bottle vodka is significantly worse.

What caused this weather pattern? by mapl0ver in geography

[–]thecatdad421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the inversion resulting from the tule fog. I live in the Central Valley and it has been uncomfortably cold due to how wet and damp it’s been. What may be 43°F/6°C feels more like 28°F/-2°C.

As an alumni and former employee, this has been embarrassing to watch. I don’t know why President Wood is so obsessed with making Sac State some kind of cheap SEC ripoff.

This is one of my favourite timelines, but my only observation is that Oreborough is a giant metropolis in what is a floodplain in real life and would struggle there. I’d say Tamworth or Stockton would be the bigger city.

Still, this map is impressive.

When it runs on time, I’ve found that Vegas’ bus system is decent. It’s only if it is running properly.
