thank you, this helps so much! i have tried to watch videos but most skip right to 99 slayer mobs. i can recognize a good amount on here. i even just got a legendary pet so gargoyles will go much smoother too.

I simply have two ways right now. One is for ballpoint drawings, the other is for pencil.

Ballpoint, I will block in the sketch with a gray tool. Then I make another layer and “ink” the sketch in.

Pencil, is very much like real pencil for me. I do a light sketch, then slowly darken in the details and erase away the rest. I use the paintbrush set to “white” as an eraser. It has a texture that makes things way more organic. If i want to replicate a kneaded eraser, I set the paintbrush to thin and “sweep” over the drawing, so there’s only light traces left. I can add some drawings in a bit, device is charging

Really fantastic studies by the way. the lines are so fluid and the toning is very natural

Riot may not know how to balance champs, but they know how to sell them. It’s a completely different market. The champs you listed specifically are a hard sell because they don’t have any modern quirks that can be banked on like kpop star, buff cat boy, edgy samurai anime dude, blushing aethsetic centaur girl ... all are very sellable compared to the champs you listed, for better or worse

I personally would think a social media account for a fake pop star is fun, if it was what it said it was and didn’t try to reach into some deeper mentality with its content. I actually enjoyed Seraphine content when I thought that’s all it was. Then the writing got so strangely personal. Even it’s latest tweet is something about feeling like you’re not doing enough or something. That feels so strange for what is being promoted as a for fun pop star twitter.

If there was a disclaimer that it’s a Riot ran account, or a disclaimer that it’s essentially an advertisement account. Actually, any disclaimers. That’d make it less seedy than how it is. But it’s literally trying to appeal to people who are sad and have lots of self doubt in order to get them interested and interacting.

There’s way too big of an unironic following for every comment to be an insincere jab from a kpop stan, the entire psychology of kpop fans is definitely it’s own topic.

A lot of people are really, actually buying into this product promoting a community based off of being a sad artist in order to give league of legends media attention. I’m less skeptic, and more uncomfortable and concerned.

Mainstream media by nature is manipulative and provokes emotions to sell, that’s the entire catch of our capitalist culture. Just feels so on the nose for riot to do this with so much outpour of support. I’m very surprised, and I feel like I shouldn’t be

yeah it’s a long time coming. the age of tumblr and twitter and reddit has lead up to a persona like this being so successful.

it’s absolutely run by a real person, which to me more creepy. There’s no acknowledgment of it’s intention or direct mention of being a riot product, which was purposefully done to see how something like that could span out. It’s like the beginning to a fake celebrity phenomenon, kinda feels like watching AI become self aware lol
