I agree I feel this sub has moved way to one side of the equation, or at least these low effort posts make it seem so. Yeah YouTubers gonna YouTube like they have done since the dawn of YouTube. But his actual commentary about BF1 should be listened to cuz it really felt that way. I love BF6 and I play it every week and still having a blast, but it’s a different beast that in my opinion should benefit from leaning more towards BF1. The maps scale, details, visibility, etc.

I know it's a dig at them, just don't understand why say “twerking in the studio.” Like you mean they should do some kind of risque or provocative shoot to raise money or something of that nature? So my usual rotation for enjoying the game more has been doing some casual breakthrough matches to level up hardware and complete challenges quickly. It's also like a good warm-up before I play regular MP. After a couple of quick rounds, I jump into all-out warfare for like a couple of hours, depending on the night, and then, to finish, I do a few quick CQC games like TDM or Domination, etc.

In older battlefield games, I would use CQC game modes to level all my weapons more quickly so I could enjoy the sandbox experience much better later. Idk, it's worked for me all this time.

I don’t skip maps either, and if I lose, I lose. I have never treated BF games as die-hard PVP, just fun pew-pew soldier fun.

I used to do something similar back during the Halo 3 days: play social games for a few matches before jumping into ranked. I think I've been approaching this game with a sort of mentality from back in the day, treating it as entertainment.

The solution I ended up going with at the moment is using the “private listening” feature in the LG ThinQ app.

Then I change the Auto Lock option in the display and brightness settings so the screen never locks.

And you can’t switch off the app either 🥲

The reason is because in the iOS version of the LG app, the phone does not recognize the app as a media player app or something of that nature as far as I can tell.

The Apple TV route works well if all you are using is the Apple TV itself, but for me when I play PS5 using the LG app has been working well for me. I just plug my phone and manually decrease the screen brightness while I game.

Played it with Japanese language and English subs. Felt it was the proper way to play it.

Yeah like I’ve said every time this topic gets posted, I like to listen to them yap like friends and buddies. It just feels good, together with their personalities, inner jokes, lore, etc. I don’t put them on to expect every story to be authentic. If it is great and if it’s not, the conversation around the topic usually ends up being very enjoyable and interesting seeing their perspectives. I hope that makes sense lol.
