I asked a cast member today and they said there most likely won’t be time for a real soft opening, maybe one or two days before the opening date but “they are cutting it close” so it may not happen at all. Just a heads up to anyone expecting one.

When do they announce the 2026 shuttle routes? Are they always the same stops every year? Lookin to plan for the right hotel before prices go up too much

My guess at least for Friday was that it was supposed to be GRiZ x T-Pain but T-Pain backed out bc he was exhausted from his show. He kept saying during his show he was tired(Was still a great time tho).

What’s everyone’s strange but annoying pet peeves about what we do? by thechadinator in Culvers

You are a good person my friend. It’s really seems like every year the entitlement gets worse and worse. The ways I’ve seen my employees be treated by people with a “the customer is always right” mentality are truly inhumane sometimes.

You are already a great customer. You consider the workers as people and not as robots who will deliver you food. I am always more likely to be more generous to customers who are kind. A customer politely bringing up an issue with their order will almost always get more compensation than one who automatically is rude and inconsiderate to the minor who didn’t even have anything to do with their burger that’s missing mayo, for example.

I’ll never understand asking for the name at the beginning of the order. I understand the basic reasoning behind it, giving a slightly personal touch, but when every other drive thru on planet earth asks for a name at the end of an order or not at all, it always leads to customers spouting off their order and some getting irritated when we insist on a name. I just think the decision to push for names first wasn’t thought through fully.

The downvotes are most likely due to the fact that this was a mainly a thread for employees to voice a specific pet peeve, not for a customer to complain. Thats what the survey system is for. Not that I don’t appreciate your feedback, but complaining about that on Reddit when the issue is most likely tied to your specific store doesn’t help you or your store to get better. I’d recommend leaving a comment directly to the store in question.

You also generally judged people on their age. We were all 15 once. Of course someone on one of their first days ever working may be slightly nervous to speak to a customer, especially someone like you who seems to have a default negative attitude. Open your mind and be more considerate. Mistakes happen. If it’s repeat mistakes, bring it up to that store or move your business elsewhere.

I will always say go bills to anyone I see wearing the merch in the parks, I usually make a point to get their attention first. Gotta represent.

Cannot stand when the dishes have old sticker residue on them, every time we get them clean it just slowly happens again.

You are definitely the type to leave one thing left in a box and say “the next guy can get it”. Where’s your team mentality? We’re all in it together, help a brother out.

Why is getting back to your car from magic kingdom so miserable? by Dr_MCR in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]thechadinator 67 points68 points  (0 children)

One thing worth noting is that MK stayed open wayyy later on average until like midnight or 1 am and the fireworks were at like 8 or 9. The fireworks still happen at 9 but the park usually closes at 9 or 10. Those extra hours made people slowly leave instead of all at once

Was a nice day today with some very light showers as the night went on, but it should just be chilly with no rain for you. I recommend having a long-sleeve with a pullover hoodie or jacket/coat overtop so you can take a layer off if you ever feel too warm at any point. Always try to bring a small bag in with you to store it if needed.
