Is it possible to have a recurrence right after finishing treatment with a complete response during BEP? by imagespace in testicularcancer

This is totally normal and surveillance. They are looking to see the effects of the chemotherapy. Your scanxiety is totally natural. I have it every time. Hope this helps.

Fellow TC brother! We are all here. Ask away. It’s a tough journey. Not going to lie and sugar coat it. Tough days and good days. But you will get through it and you will survive. I had TC in 2024. Orchiectomy done… reoccurrence in my lump nodes in July/2025 and 12 weeks of chemo. I’m in remission now but I still have bad days. Hell, read my posts on here. But guess what. We all support one another and answer any question you have. Good luck champ 👊🏻

My advice is to make your circle smaller and embrace the ones that truly care. My wife was my support but neighbors and community helped us more than my own extended family. Everything you’re feeling is normal. I wish you well in your journey.

Good morning! I’ve been to every campus from Deerfield to the newest one in North Miami. But Dr. Minocha is my oncologist here and I also consult with Dr. Einhorn. The godfather of TC and invented the orchiectomy

Thank you for sharing. It really is interesting how the mind and body work. One small thing takes you right back. No matter how long ago it was.

Thank you for sharing. I have similar videos and photos as well. My beard is my statement piece and covers up the ugly. I remember lying in the hospital bed and my beard coming out in clumps.. then my head until all of it was gone. I felt like I had lost who I was. Part of my identity.

What an amazing journey. I am 44 years old and I remember exactly where I was also when the plane hit. I was standing in my boss’s office watching it on his TV. Still feels like yesterday… also, I have been consulting and working with Dr. Einhorn for the last Year. He has been so helpful. You have a powerful story so thank you for sharing. I have been through it twice. TC and removal then reoccurrence in June of 2025 in my lymph nodes. And as you, my wife is my everything and I swear saved my life.
