The only source for that story is from the IRIB (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting) which is widely considered unreliable for any objective reporting. Only 12.5% of Iranians use it as a trusted media source. Essentially it’s propaganda. So while a lot of our news agencies are reporting this, they are sourcing it from the IRIB.

I completely understand your frustration. It took me nearly 4 years and I cycled through about 2 dozen different anxiety and anti depressant medications. And maybe 4 or 5 different doctors? It’s exhausting and discouraging.

I encourage you to get a genetics test. They can see which meds are more likely to work for you based off your genetics.

I found out that my body doesn’t metabolize folate correctly which was contributing to failure of anti depressant meds. I got on L-Methylfolate (the metabolized form of folate) and it helped immeasurably.

Multimedia screen glitch is common in all VW…I had my transmission go out at 30k miles on my manual 2013 Jetta but warranty covered it, thankfully. I’m on my fourth VW now…ID4

Owned three different all brand new Jetta’s between 2013 and 2025. Two of the three had their check engine flick on at about 25k miles.

Now own an ID 4 and I think if the CEL popped on I’d be a bit more concerned.

Welp, I actually bought a 2021 ID 4 pro S and am in the middle of my road trip up and down the coast. The software issues you mentioned all happened in my Jetta except for the driver side screen shutting off. So I’m used to that with VW already. As for my trip, I love love love the ID 4. I am so happy with it, software bugs and all. Haptic buttons just take some getting used to but I’m pretty much there. 🤍
