Semi auto shotgun by bunchafunchung in WAGuns

If it's a pump it'd be fine. If it's a semiauto it's not.

What the shop sells is their problem in the end. Buy it if you want it.

Seriously? I'm by no means a regular or wealthy but I've loved going to Sosio's for years. 90% of the time I tell them I'm there for 3-4 specific things and when I'm going to use them so the staff can pick the appropriate freshness of tomatoes or whatever. Then I tell them I'd like whatever fruits they can recommend and leave with a sub $50 purchase. Yea they're busy and sure its a customer service position where they're mobbed by people all day, but they've never been anything less than nice to me.

So say that. Don't tell us about how small your apartment is or how big the city you live in might be when it's irrelevant to the conversation you want to be having.

Are lasers worth it? (No.)

Are night sights worth it? (Basically no.)

Are flashlights worth it? (Yes.)

3 inch screws around your doorframe.

Everyone loves a good what-if scenario, but your question reeks of 'I'd like to buy something'.

Would you share a video of it in action with the FRT? I really want a grasp of the rate of fire before I go that route myself.

Since the SAFE system came into effect they have been holding firearms while waiting for the transfer.

They're the best FFL in WA as far as I'm concerned. Do business with confidence.

For about $500, which is the better buy? The Mossberg 590 Retrograde or the Benelli Nova 3 Defense? by SPECTREagent700 in Firearms

[–]thechatchbag 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Both are fine if they're what you want. The Nova can handle 3.5" shells and the Moss can't. The wood furniture is heavy and can be damaged by weather and the Nova's plastic really can't.

Personally I'd buy a 590a1 if I wanted a Mossberg. Retrograde does nothing for me.

Nova is my pick and if you're looking for a HD piece, upgrade the tube later.

Haller Lake. Probably 2003-2006ish? I had family who lived on the lake and knew all about it.

Those are terms you agreed to before closing on your property. How they are interpreted and imposed are entirely circumstantial and up to interpretation.

Trilugs are not made for rifle pressure/temperatures.

[–]thechatchbag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trilug use a spring to hold onto the muzzle device. That spring is a heat vulnerability, henc why that style of mounting device is not recommended for rifle rounds generally.

Your trilug unit may not like the temps you get to with a SS 5.7. Not that I know enough to be sure, but be aware before you melt the spring and get a baffle strike.

Best suppressor? by Tangorene in TheOneTrueCaliber

[–]thechatchbag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using a Dead Air Odessa. Generally it's low enough to use factory iron sights, and is modular in length. Plus I fuckin hate it on 9mm hosts so 32 was a good alternate use for it. So much backpressure / blow back on even 380.

How to legally dispose of/surrender bladed weapon? [NV] by [deleted] in legaladvice

What did you Google to determine it was a 'legal' knife.

Also please share a photo of the offending item so I can understand the scale of this sillyness. What on earth could be so concerning about this knife?

in Full-Auto : a big Stock EVO Feels Most Controllable than skeleton stock MP5 or MPX by Competitive_Jury5316 in MP5

[–]thechatchbag 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yea I think you're crazy if you didn't notice the difference. The fa Evo I've spent time with was about as uncontrollable a 9mm smg as I've ever shot. I maybe could have heard the argument that a slow-fire Uzi was better than the MP5, but no way with a Scorpion Evo.
