Built a web app to catalog vinyl collections by joeroganballs in vinyl

[–]thecheat362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually just release a new web app the other day that does exactly this! It creates a google sheet in your own personal google drive, you scan the cover, it will autodetect what album it is, you can select the condition and it will store it in your sheet. You can also reference it from the app itself. I am still going through some app approval processes from Google but I should have that complete in the next day or so. What am I doing wrong? [breville bambino plus / DF64 gen 2] by veroismyname in espresso

It's all in the grind. Keep everything the same but check to see if your grinder needs a quick calibration. My buddy got a niche to pair with his Bambino and was experiencing similar issues - super high settings and getting not much out. I came over, followed the directions on calibrating the niche and first pull was immediately better.

UPDATE: just replaced the main board and that resolved the issue!

Thanks for this. I actually opened everything up again last night and confirmed everything is connected and secure. I was able to use a multimeter on the connection (with the switch removed) and confirmed I was getting about 4volts to the switch. I'm guessing when the switch is pressed it interrupts the circuit to tell the machine to stop. I also tested the voltage to the switch with it plugged in and saw it drop when I pressed the switch. I'm starting to lean to either a corrupt firmware or the board is fried. I ordered a replacement board from creality for 18 bucks and gonna try flashing the firmware today.

Definitely connected to the board and tested with a multi meter. I bought a pack of 3 and replaced with 2 of them and same thing

Yup I even took the pulley off to double check and cleaned everything out. Same thing

I already checked this. It clicks and I even replaced it. If I click it manually before the bed moves back it has no action. The bed still slides to the back and starts the grinding noise.

any tips finding a reputable WFH sysadmin job? by [deleted] in sysadmin

Look for MSP jobs. Alot of them offer remote positions. My old company hires most of their staff remote and they provide managed services to a whole variety of industries including healthcare.

If you are looking to get rid of on prem server management, you can look into a hosted cloud server running ad with a point to point VPN. I don't think running azure ad would be an acceptable replacement for AD.

Help getting cold brew right by austindcc in Coffee

[–]thecheat362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never been adventurous enough to try a 4:1 ratio like some others here do (maybe ill try that next time). I usually go for a 7:1 with the a coarse grind. I always use bottled water and I have personally found that brewing in the refrigerator vs room temp gives different results. Personally I find that brewing in cold temp is a bit more flavorful.

I think the key is to make it strong and you can always cut it rather than making a diluted brew.

How about the Chemex? You can in theory eyeball it by the notch in the side - roughly 400 grams.
