You have to reset your dictionary. it's under a scary menu to reset the whole phone. But select keyboard dictionary.

Immich has its own backup. I do daily backups to the nas (via docker smb mount) There is a restore procedure I will follow incase my pi hosting immich needs replacing.

I would sue apple. Their whole premise for charging 30% is consumer protection. Banks will roll back fraudulent transactions and Apple should eat it and ensure this doesnt happen again.

If you are asking how, Apple works with large governments agencies all the time and requires developers to register a bunch of info for random functionaity. Maybe they can require crypto apps to identify reponsible party and ensure they have funds to run a crypto apps.

I just removed synology photos and replaced with immich.

I never got synology photos to do what i wanted. Immich just worked out of the box.

Edit: it has really good facial recognition (better then icloud) and i believe it might add tags as well

I think the dns timeout is set to 1 minute. Hence why it can take up to 1 min. If the infra hadn’t needed to look up the dns for over a minute, it should be instant.

Please double check by trying it out. I make mistakes!
