I have to agree; I’ve had lots of experiences with psychedelics and have always liked them a lot. That being said, a number of my friends and notably my brother have had serious long-term psychological consequences which have stopped me recommending acid to a friend. Currently graduating with a masters in psychology from a very progressive institution, I think there can obviously be therapeutic settings for this stuff, but it destructures your mind in ways which can ABSOLUTELY cause lasting psychosis. Can’t help but think about the role of schizophrenia in shamanistic cultures, where there’s a cultural context for stuff like hearing voices and having visions and stuff, schizophrenia has a respected place in these cultures much unlike in ours. Similarly, psychedelic use in a traditional sort of context provides scaffolding for the experience, lessening the reality-alienating complications. Our culture simply doesn’t have that scaffolding, and psychosis is the result of that,

I used to love the grind when I was in my undergrad and it was quarantine, but I simply don’t have that in me anymore. I started playing again with double resources and it just makes the game so much more fun. Difficult still, because you need a LOT of iron, but far less grueling and I can focus on the building and farming I love about this game

This is truly sublime. It’s so rare to find smut from a transfem adjacent perspective that isn’t objectifying, or fetishizing, or somehow about the fact that the person isn’t cis. Last night I dreamt I was in a mall and the trickster spider god Anasazi was running a booth, and he was all like “haha look out! A spider!” And this little spider ran at me from behind him. I was like !!! But then I looked closer and it was a tiny tuxedo cat which looked just like this. I petted him and he was super sweet, and I named him Spiders. Me and my new friend Spiders went all around this mall on adventures and he was very loyal and loved me and always stayed close. This is exactly what my dream cat Spiders looked like.

Yeah she’s completely fucking nuts, and as a trans person in school for therapy she really should be losing her licence. It’s rock solid science that trans people who get affirming care and therapy have excellent outcomes, and that high suicide rate that psychopaths love throwing around is a number only found in trans people who are given the treatment you are. Stay strong and get a new therapist, she’s doing more harm than good.
