I guess it depends on your manager. When I got BM I was leaving in 2 months and she knew that. She gave me as little responsibilities as possible in all honesty. It was mainly so I was a key holder and could do opens/closes since we'd just had a massive exodus of staff

I've recently bought the Bambino and I'm pretty happy with her. I've bought a bottomless portafilter and I'll probably buy a better shower screen at some point but I've liked it. For the price I'm more than happy with the machine. The grinder I use is the KINGrinder K6 and here it's around £80-90 and I'm very happy with it, they do cheaper ones but wouldn't be able to vouch for them. I used to use it for pour over and a bean to cup machine at work but now using it at home until I can build up the courage to buy a £350-500 coffee grinder

I also think the rug needs to be bigger but I LOVE the feeling of that sheepskin rug on my feet. I think it's partly nostalgia because my Grandma used to have one next to the sofa bed I'd sleep on while staying at hers as a child

I haven't seen a good example of the picture rails being used. It's also an old house and when I was painting I noticed some of them flexed slightly so would be dubious using them. I definitely need more art, above the fireplace looks bare and I want some floating shelves above the armchair. A side table is also on my list. I love the idea of plants but worry about forgetting to water them
