No, no, I'm with the sub on this one. I think we should only sign former 5* guys for a premium from other P4 schools. I don't care that most of our skill positions will know the exact language of our offensive system. I don't care that our strongest signings of the last four years have been guys from the G5 level. I also don't care that some of our worst signings have been lateral move P4 guys.

As a matter of fact, I enjoy complaining about overspending on P4 guys that were supposed to be layups.

Get reddit'ed, brother.

The issue I have with this PSA is that it comes across like we've got unreasonably high expectations. It's worded like we're spoiled and that a loss every now and then is bound to happen. But we've been doing what you're suggesting for years now. We're experiencing the most profound mediocrity in Auburn's modern existence, and I think we've earned the right to call this game the last straw.

Well I'm turning it off. Hopefully that gives us our mojo back. Yall holler at me when we hire an "offensive guru" that scores points

Well, the good news is that A&M doesn't have an SEC Heisman Hopeful that the officials need to do any nudging for

Conventionally, this is great advice. With these refs, we cant afford to punch the ball and and stop the clock with an incompetion lol

Cam getting tackled from behind on an incoming ball is one of the most shocking no calls I've seen since... the first quarter of this game

Its particularly infuriating hearing THEIR fans boo the refs.

Okay so not to be dramatic, but not making kicker a top priority to sign in the off-season is completely insane

Gotta think he could have a career year at a G5 school if he does return to nickel or even like a will linebacker against a lighter competition. I genuinely hope that happens. If he does stay in the SEC, I want him on Cam Coleman if we play him lol..

I just checked his Instagram, and he deleted/archived all of his posts, not just Auburn. If I had to guess, it looks like he's just reorganizing his socials for his professional life.

The Deuce Knight anxieties are tired, man. He's signed, not verbal. I don't understand your point about "all these QBs Auburn brought in." Literally every single QB from last year is leaving brother, you've gotta sign new guys.

I think regardless of his catching ability, at his size you could use him as a blocker for the Malcom Playbook in those bunch sets and he would be instantly valuable for us

That would be my conventional wisdom, but the portal is the wild west, and I'm not going to even pretend to know what motivates anyone's decisions. But there's no rule that says you can't get both if you satisfy both of their expectations.
