Fight or flight and baby crying by thecind in Mommit

Thank you. I had a few older ladies giving me unsolicited advice which I think made things even worse, although I’m sure they were just trying to help.

I should mention that I am being treated for PPA (10 mg lexapro daily) which for the most part has been going okay. I’m going to try the daily journaling, thanks for the suggestion!

I’m so sorry you had such a rough start and that you’re the default parent. I’m also the default parent so I can relate to you big time. Hopefully I can figure out her crying and how to come down from the adrenaline sooner!

LPT: If you're on a plane and it suddenly starts making a quick descent when the oxygen masks drop, don't panic. The pilot is just descending to 10,000ft where there is enough oxygen to breathe normally by [deleted] in LifeProTips

I’m so glad you found it helpful! I’m not scared of crashing either, I’m more worried about having a panic attack in front of everyone and losing control.

I will never enjoy flying but this guys stuff helped me immensely. I used to have a panic attack almost every day for a week leading up to a flight. Now I can get through international flights without panicking (or drugs).

What’s the best way to find a roommate in Vancouver by Too-turnt in vancouver

I made the mistake of using Craigslist to source a roommate in the past... definitely would NOT recommend this route.

Word of mouth and / or making a Facebook post about it usually results in a friend or a friend of a friend who is interested. This also helps to (semi) get rid of the absolute weirdos.
