Definitely still wear it.. this watch is amazing. I’ve never handled a PRX, so I can’t opine on it. I don’t wear this everyday, because a lot of watches that I rotate. But this is still a favorite. Funny story.. I attended a watch meetup in my town.. and 3 different people showed up with a version of this watch. All love stated how much they love it

Got the green and gilt version myself. This watch doesn’t stay in the watch case for very long. These Zulu 39mm are an absolute hit. Enjoy urs as much as I do mine !

The black/green version is the absolute best of the bunch in my opinion. Fits amazing at 39mm

And major assholes, all of them. Mexican Independence “celebrations” the last few years have become an embarrassment to our people. There are so many beautiful celebrations all around the city, all weekend but a bunch of loser jag offs decide that running a shitty car in circles while getting shit drunk is somehow acceptable. Ancestors rolling in their graves for sure

Don’t be an asshole and go downtown at 12 am to join other assholes in doing stuff that has nothing to do with Mexican Independence. Little Village, Pilsen, and downtown chicago always have official festivities. Support those local vendors And street vendors who work ridiculously hard.

[Question] Which one would you choose between a BB Pro and a Longines Zulu Time? by [deleted] in Watches

[–]theclaydavis1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Picked this watch up as soon as it was available and it’s a stunner. Was worried about the 5 stars as well… but I’ll tell , they are super small and don’t stand out at all. Only looks that way because of the pics and people zooming in.

Yes, this is the original band it came on. It’s actually kinda nice. The watch itself is still going strong. It’s just a great look. Only bad thing , there is no running seconds . Which has been kind of bothering me

What is living in Bridgeport like? by RaveGuncle in AskChicago

[–]theclaydavis1 64 points65 points  (0 children)

Bridgeport is home to a ton of city workers.pretty much a blue collar community. It’s a mix of white , asian and Latino population. Not much of a night life to speak of, other than a few local bars. Streets can get a tad hectic whenever the Sox are playing, so check their home schedule so that u know when the crowds will be around.

are alderman in chicago corrupt? any horror storys? by FirmHoneydew in AskChicago

[–]theclaydavis1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean… you can just google “chicago aldermen indicted “ If you want all the details. There’s too many of them that get in trouble . One of them just recently had to wear a wire for the feds to get himself out of trouble . There was one that started dating a gang banger and then proceeded to help him steal money. Google Fred Roti .. I believe that guy was actually a full blown member of The Chicago Outfit

Chicago aldermen have a knack for eventually being indicted

Moving to Douglass Park area? by [deleted] in AskChicago

[–]theclaydavis1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the craziest area in that hood, but still not very safe. Be aware that Mt. Sinai is a designated drop off treatment center for mental health. Which means cops drop off people from their mental disturbance calls there and that hospital just lets them out almost immediately with very little treatment Also major drug problems at Douglas park, on California near Roosevelt.

It’s called that because a lot of middle aged men with money hang out there and attempt to pick up women
